Townhomes expected to continue sales momentum in Kingsfield estate
March 17, 2022
The highly sought-after townhomes include three and four bedroom options and will be released to the public this Saturday 19 March.
Kingsfield's latest release of townhomes follows the rapid sell-out of the last Stage Release 16A which saw 20 lots ranging from 350 to 460 square metres snapped up in the environmentally conscious development located off Lancefield Road.
The latest release brings the total lots sold at Kingsfield to 670 with 1,630 remaining lots awaiting future releases.
Steve Butler, Development Director at Moremac, said purchasers are securing themselves a home in one of Victoria's premiere estates in regards to both sustainability and community living.
“Our latest homeowners are purchasing themselves a piece of land in one of the most forward-thinking developments in Victoria,” said Butler.
“Kingsfield is sixty-five percent open space backing onto the Emu Creek wetlands, along with providing significant open space, the development will take huge strides in the environmental space with a number of initiatives to future proof the community.”
Kingsfield borders Emu Creek and the project is championing sustainability through a number of innovate features, including an East Coast residential first with Reconophalt, a new recycled asphalt, used for road construction.
Reconophalt contains TonerPlas (soft plastics & Printer toner), RAP (Recycled Asphalt), recycled oil and can contain recycled glass. The TonerPlas, RAP, oil and glass are all 100% recycled and mixed with an asphalt mix for a more environmentally friendly finish.
Kingsfield residents will also be the beneficiaries of a dedicated Sustainability Fund, where contributions will be made via Moremac sales revenues and an amount from select energy providers chosen to install solar power systems in the development.
“The sustainability fund will be used on environmentally conscious projects, which most importantly will be elected on by the residents themselves,” added Butler.
“Initiatives could include creating environmentally conscious amenities, recycling initiatives, and more, but it will ultimately be decided by the residents, which is a really effective way of building a strong Kingsfield community.”
Also unique to Kingsfield is the 'ready-made' community of Sunbury right next door, offering a range of schooling, amenity and entertainment options for new residents.
The thriving suburb is 40 kilometres from Melbourne's CBD and provides a unique mix of rural living with an urban lifestyle, ready and waiting for new residents of the Kingsfield estate with its family friendly appeal.
Kingsfield will add to the growth of Sunbury with the addition of a parks, sporting fields, a primary school and what is aiming to be the world's most sustainable town centre to come.
“Sunbury really does have everything a young family making the move to a new town needs, and we're looking forward to building further on those amenities, highlighted by our future town centre precinct,” added Butler.
