A Day in Sunbury

Weekends at Kingsfield are whatever you want them to be! Filled with exploring the natural wonderland of Emu Creek, checking in on the local arts trail and discovering the many local gourmet delights. Maybe long walks and a bike ride along the many trails and paths, and endless days in the park or quite simply relaxing at home.

8 AM

No alarm needed, you will bounce out of bed, breathe in the fresh country air and hit the tracks along the banks of Emu Creek.

9.15 AM

Worked up a thirst? Head out for a caffeine hit at your favourite coffee spot, which one is it this week – The Spotted Owl, Sacco Coffee Roastery or is it time to try somewhere new?

10.30 AM

Now that you’ve refueled, why not spend some time unwinding at The Nook. Loved by locals, it features Jackson’s Creek waterhole, wildlife and beautiful, natural open spaces – a 15-minute walk from the centre of town.

12 PM

For a lazy lunch not too far away, try Galli Estate or Witchmount, maybe a taste at each.

3 PM

Work off some of the day’s indulgence and take in the local scenery by having a hit

of golf at the Goonawarra Golf Club.

6 PM

Wind down with a leisurely stroll around Kingsfield’s wetlands, open space and connecting pathways to keep every family member happy.

7 PM

Enjoying the last of the day, reflecting on another wonderful weekend in Sunbury… hang on, it’s only Saturday, we can do it all again tomorrow.
